Just turned on netflix again after a year. The coronavirus keeps us indoors at the moment. Thanks for these recommendations, perfect timing. Saw passengers last night….expected the worst but enjoyed it a lot. Probably because it’s set in space…

I’m glad you can make use of my recommendations, some of the material is heavy/depressing, (specifically the documentaries, but they’re thought provoking).
Passengers had some controversy, but I actually enjoyed watching it too. The actors had great chemistry, sets were beautiful, (they were physically built), and I like sci-fi stories too.

I didn’t know of any controversy around passengers but I don’t think I even noticed it’s release. The sets were beautiful. And the quiet…ahhh.
Its so easy to be disappointed by a film that when a film is even slightly better than expected it becomes somehow remarkable

Documentaries are often a good choice in these times of marvel crap. Heavy and thought provoking sounds just fine to me.
