Hahahahaha – That seems like haiku cheating. I had my first hot pocket a couple of weeks ago. It wasn’t very satisfying. It didn’t seem like much food given the number of calories. I find it hard to feel empathy for those admissions scofflaws.

I couldnāt resist using their branding to make a pointš, Iāve never had hot pockets and donāt plan on trying them. This stuff has been going on forever, they just got caught.

I’m sure this has been going on forever. Parents donate a lot of money and junior gets in. The whole idea of legacy enrollments should go. Many times someone who does not have the grades gets accepted based on father or grandfather is an alumni.

I totally agree. I donāt think Bush Jr couldāve qualified to go to Yale, and they probably let him pass with Cās, they did that for him in the army too, let him get by without serving at all. Whistleblowers were ignored. Dan Rather got in trouble for reporting the truth.

Really every politician’s child on booth sides of the aisle would fit under this including heads of company’s children.

Thatās for sure! All the fancy new bldgs with fancy names all bought their kidās way through school, why else would they ādonateā. Thatās what Loughlin the actress caught in the scam claims she donated to, not bribed the school. But she still lied about her daughter being an athlete. I think the children of the corporate aristocracy all had their school/career path bought for them through connections. Thatās why I donāt think itās impressive to go to an Ivy League school (unless it was earned on a scholarship, and even then, was it truly merit based?).

I talked to someone who child transferred from NYU to Harvard and said NYU was more challenging. Harvard has 50 percent legacy enrollment or thereabouts. The person thought Harvard had to make things easier for the legacies.

I agree. A professor I had, that went to Yale said it was full of rich kids but not a better educational experience. She said our school was just as rigorous but without the hype.
