Have You Seen Me? : The Tragedy of Johnny Gosch (Trafficking is Connected to Porn)

This is what kids used to see on little milk cartons during lunch time at school.

Warning: Please watch the documentary below with caution. It contains triggering information and images. I especially don’t advise watching it if you were sexually abused. Once you see something it can’t be unseen, I don’t want to traumatize you but I think this is crucial information that will help you to know that child trafficking is an organized crime run like a business internationally. 800,000 children go missing every year in the United States, where are they going? Just because msm doesn’t report news about this, doesn’t mean that it’s not happening.

This short clip below contains no triggering images or explicit information:

The tragedy of Johnny Gosch is especially haunting because no one knows if he’s still alive. He was a paperboy who was kidnapped when he was delivering newspapers. His disappearance was the first to inspire images of missing children on milk cartons. Some theories say that he was sex trafficked to elite pedophiles and forced to do child pornography. It’s alleged that he was one of the “call boys” that got a midnight tour of the Whitehouse in 1989, (when news was still reported).

At the time when he was kidnapped, most people didn’t yet know what pedophilia was; North American culture during the early 80s was a seemingly innocent time. Children were routinely left unattended because parents assumed that they were safe, they couldn’t imagine that children would be stolen, raped, murdered or sold as sex slaves. Back then, kidnapping was associated with money ransoms; no one understood that there was an underground network of pedophiles that preyed on children. Decades later, I think most people still don’t understand that child trafficking exists, but it’s a world-wide, multi-billion dollar industry that’s closely related to drug smuggling.

I grew up during the 80’s when children had a lot of autonomous freedom; we weren’t cloistered inside with our eyes glued to a blue-lit screen. We read books, wandered through marshes, caught crayfish and build treehouse forts. Everyday I walked alone for several blocks to a crowded school bus stop to go to elementary school, when I was just 8-12+ yrs old. After school or during the summer, I played outside all day unsupervised. I explored solitary woods, collected shiny rocks and peered into frozen creeks.

My sister at age 12 rode her bike for miles (with me at age 6, riding at the edge of the seat/on the back wheel, my little feet would get caught in the spokes and we’d crash often). We traveled to local stores to buy candy/chocolate, art supplies and to look at Christian comic books (at a shop that also sold pornography). My sister was the one that was into the Christian comic books, she was very evangelical. But the stories were very frightening to me, I took the potential consequence of hellfire and eternal damnation very seriously when I was a child.

“Chick’s tracts express views that are generally accepted within mainstream Christian theology, several tracts have expressed controversial viewpoints. Most notably, Chick tracts express strong anti-Catholic views, as well as criticisms of other faiths, including Judaism, Islam, Mormonism, and Satanism.

My older siblings were often left “in charge of the house” while both of our parents worked; we were all “latch key kids” who learned self-sufficiency at an early age. All of us could have easily been kidnapped. We walked alone to school, unlocked doors to return to empty homes while our stressed-out parents worked. We obeyed our teachers, respected all adults as authority figures, (yes sir/yes mam). We roller-skated and watched Saturday morning cartoons, we were addicted to television, video games and soda. We sat on benches in noisy school cafeterias while we disconnectedly drank from tiny milk cartons, with the faces of missing children imprinted on them. I remember looking at the missing kid’s faces and not understanding the gravity of the situation, most kids probably didn’t notice the smiling faces of the stolen children. Their “School Picture Day” photos blended into the milk cartons like advertisements on cereal boxes.

Connection between pornography, sexual violence and trafficking:

Desensitization facilitates the normalization of abuse, violence etc through repetition. Pornography is a perfect example of this. Most people don’t realize how psychologically affecting porn is and don’t realize that porn is connected to human trafficking. As a typical liberal, I used to think it was harmless, (I saw it as a joke) and I viewed it as a protected aspect of freedom of speech, but I was wrong. If you watch porn, please stop or try to limit your viewing of it. The images are brainwashing you. Desensitization is related to addiction.

More and more degrading stimulus is needed to get “satisfaction”, and because it’s so readily available many men can’t even climax without porn. I knew at least one young guy in his early thirties who admitted that he couldn’t have an orgasm without it. He wasn’t impotent, but he was addicted to the fantasy of porn. He was a kind, super-intelligent, and successful guy in all other aspects, (he was an engineer that worked with Elon Musk when I briefly dated him). Modern life is breaking people’s natural limits.

Porn is targeted at males more than females so the themes are often misogynistic and fetishized. It teaches people to think that regular sex is boring and abuse (like choking a partner during sex) is normal. Many don’t understand that the porn industry is connected to trafficking and social conditioning. Why else would it be free? Porn has gotten to be so much more graphic, violent and demeaning than the cheesy versions from the 70s. The serial killer, Ted Bundy admitted that porn addiction fueled his rape and killing sprees.

For 2017, PornHub claims 28.5 billion total visits. That’s 81 million a day, almost 4 million an hour, 56,000 a minute. In the time it takes to read this post, the site will have recorded more than 100,000 visits.

PornHub says its audience is 75 percent men and 25 percent women. This comes as a surprise. Most estimates of the Internet porn audience skew more toward men, on the order of 90 percent male, 10 percent female.”

Divorce Rates Double when People Start Watching Porn

Prostitution isn’t glamorous, the average age of prostitutes when they started is 12-14 yrs old. Many were already sexually abused. The females in porn videos could be trafficked sex slaves, no one thinks of that, they assume they want that lifestyle.

Years ago, when I used to work for a certain public library, not my current place of work, I frequently saw young boys watching hard core pornography at the library. It was very disturbing but I wasn’t allowed to interfere, because the library was known for its policies of non-censorship and free access to materials regardless of age. This boy looked about 8-9yrs old and was watching violent sodomy of a woman. He had a numb expression on his face. I also saw, at a different library, a girl who looked around 9 yrs old was caught having sex in the public bathroom with an adult man at the library. She looked homeless, she was disheveled and had ripped clothes on, she was wearing shorts in the middle of winter. None of us knew what was going on until it was too late. She quickly left the library after being caught. I wish I’d realized in time and helped her. We looked for her outside but she was gone.

“1. According to a meta-analysis of 46 different studies, if you watch pornography you have a 31% increased risk of accepting rape myths—that is, believing things that would reduce your empathy for a rape victim or lead you to blame a rape victim for being assaulted. 1

2. According to one college-age study, the prevalence of objectifying images of women in your dorm room or fraternity house significantly correlates to having attitudes that are hostile to rape victims. 2

3. According to another college-age study, if you are a woman exposed early to pornography in life, you’re more likely to have rape fantasies and you’re more likely to have attitudes that support sexual violence against women. 3

4. According to a study done among women involved in a battered women’s program, the use of pornography by their partners significantly increased the odds of the women being sexually abused by their partners. 4

5. According to one meta-analysis, watching porn is correlated with a 22% increase risk of committing sexual offenses. 1

6. According to the same meta-analysis, watching porn is correlated to a 31% increase of developing sexually deviant tendencies. 1

7. According to a report submitted to the U.S. Justice Department, men arrested for visiting prostitutes are at least twice as likely to be porn users than a random national sample of men. 5

8. According to a study of Italian teens, viewing porn was significantly correlated with committing acts of sexual violence and engaging in unwanted sex. 6

9. According to a Japanese study, men exposed to rape porn where the victims show pleasure in the act of rape are significantly more likely to believe that higher percentages of rape cases are simply invented by victims. 7

10. According to the same study, these men exposed to rape porn were also significantly more likely to believe women could enjoy rape. 7

Human Trafficking across the US border:

Human trafficking, especially Child trafficking will never go away if good people do nothing to stop it. The first step of change is acknowledgement. We have to end the silence and cover up. Children and women are often trafficked across the border to and from Mexico, (this why Trump’s border wall is an essential component to stop human trafficking). The Coyotes that Trump referred to are traffickers that pretend to guide illegal immigrants across the border, they’re not 4 legged creatures! Liberal dopes made fun of Trump but they were the true idiots! Ending the hell of child slavery has to be our number one goal as human beings; what else is more important than this?

“Now is the time for the Congress to show the world that America is committed to ending illegal immigration and putting the ruthless coyotes, cartels, drug dealers, and human traffickers out of business.”

Legal immigrants enrich our Nation and strengthen our society in countless ways. I want people to come into our country, but they have to come in legally…

Tolerance for illegal immigration is not compassionate — it is cruel. One in three women is sexually assaulted on the long journey north. Smugglers use migrant children as human pawns to exploit our laws and gain access to our country.

Human traffickers and sex traffickers take advantage of the wide open areas between our ports of entry to smuggle thousands of young girls and women into the United States and to sell them into prostitution and modern-day slavery…

In the last 2 years, our brave ICE officers made 266,000 arrests of criminal aliens, including those charged or convicted of nearly 100,000 assaults, 30,000 sex crimes, and 4,000 killings.”

      1. You are so welcome my sweet sister. This is a topic every human being should be horribly saddened by. You are right slavery is very much alive in many places and it breaks my heart to even comprehend sex slavery.
Sending you lots of love right back my friend. Stay safe and blessed. Love ❤️ Joni

  2. This is a thought provoking and well researched article on porn and trafficking. Easy accessibility of porn clips also helps corrupt minds. Thanks for sharing this informative piece.

    1. Thank you, KK. Porn used to be looked down on, it was underground but slowly it became accepted into mainstream (fuzzy handcuffs and feather whips made it seem harmless) but it comes from a dark place. I think we’ve all been brainwashed to think degradation is normal.

  3. Very comprehensive and essential post Judy. Just watched the Johnny Grosch video. It’s heartbreaking…and Paul Bonacci…you can see how haunted he is through his eyes. Noreen Gosch is such an amazing and strong woman. It wasn’t an easy watch and thank you for the warning you gave at the start, as I was then able to make an informed decision to watch it or not and to prepare/steel myself for any disturbing content. I just put my hand over the screen a couple of times and got through it.

    1. Thank you, Sue. I felt the same way and I have to look away too at certain images. The way that Bonacci cried at the awful place, he’s forever traumatized. I feel sorry for him, he had no choice was taken so young and he served time. Noreen amazed me too, she survived so much and she continues to help over victims/their parents. I grew up during this time but I never knew this story until I started researching. I don’t want to make people watch or be surprised/horrified without a warning. I’ve seen images from other videos that I wish I never saw. The information is important but I just wish there was more warnings even where the time mark is in the video, maybe.

      1. I had a nightmare about it last night but I don’t regret watching it because the knowledge is important. We can’t sweep this stuff under the carpet anymore. Too many lives have and will be ruined. Awareness will help, in small ways and then hopefully in big ways. A small light at the end of the tunnel – I think Bonacci is looking a little better now as a older man, his eyes aren’t as haunted, his demeanour is brighter. He’s married and possibly healing a bit due to his spouse’s love. As for Johnny Grosch, if he’s still around, I really hope he finds peace too and the thousands of children this has happened to. That may be asking too much, but hopefully some of them will recover to make some sense of their lives. Thank you Judy for bringing these issues to people’s attention.

      2. I’m so sorry you had a nightmare because of this story. When I first heard of it I couldn’t forget it, it’s so haunting. Especially that Johnny visited his mom years later! I can’t sleep very well anymore, I think I’m not getting REM sleep anymore or I can’t recall my dreams, they’re probably nightmares. I agree that Bonacci seems much better, he was enslaved when he was 6 I think, not his fault. I’m glad he found a partner and some semblance of peace. He never received the money the court ruled in favor of. There are videos of survivors who have amazingly healed from being trafficked as children, they are so consciously aware and strong, many fight to help victims. There have been flight attendants and Uber drivers who’ve helped victims to escape, if we’re all aware of the crimes, maybe we can help stop this. Thank you for caring about this topic! I hope slavery ends in our lifetime.
