Twitter Published and Refused to Delete Child Porn: Cancel Twitter Now!

I don’t use Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, Tiktok or anything but WP. I used to try to be on some of the platforms because I was told by “professionals” that I needed to have a social media audience as a writer/artist. I disagree. Why do we need to use Any of those useless, time-wasting sites? Everytime I’ve joined a site it seems that my account gets hacked and I can’t remember my passwords to delete the accounts.

I vehemently dislike social media, it reminds me of everything that was frivolous and demeaning about high school. I think it’s a shallow, ungenuine, popularity contest/display for people who are desperate for attention and validation. I don’t consider blogging to be in the social media category, perhaps because I think of WP as a creative writing/publishing platform, not a “this is what I’m eating for lunch” or “here I am in a bikini on vacation (don’t be jealous of my glamorous life)” site. But blogging can also bring out a similar kind of depression or desire for approval. We humans are such vain, strange, lonely creatures.

But back to the original topic, which I hadn’t heard about until today. Twitter, which is known for it’s unjustified censorship of conservative opinions, violated its own policies by publishing child pornography and refusing to take it down until it was forced to by the feds. What the f*ck is wrong with Jack Dorsey? First of all, someone that he trusts needs to tell him that he looks like an idiot. Is he trying to celebrate his Gen X roots with a trans-positive/effeminate nose ring while also pretending to be a hip millennial with his gray-speckled hobo/Moses/pube-hair beard? Is Dorsey a pedo too? Is that why he published and profited from child porn against the wishes of the trafficked victim?

Doe and the traffickers allegedly exchanged nude photos before the conversation turned to blackmail: If the teen didn’t share more sexually graphic photos and videos, the explicit material he’d already sent would be shared with his “parents, coach, pastor” and others, the suit states.

Doe, acting under duress, initially complied and sent videos of himself performing sex acts and was also told to include another child in his videos, which he did, the suit claims…

Over the next month, the videos would be reported to Twitter at least three times — first on Dec. 25, 2019 — but the tech giant failed to do anything about it until a federal law enforcement officer got involved, the suit states…

Doe became aware of the tweets in January 2020 because they’d been viewed widely by his classmates, which subjected him to “teasing, harassment, vicious bullying” and led him to become “suicidal,” court records show.

While Doe’s parents contacted the school and made police reports, he filed a complaint with Twitter, saying there were two tweets depicting child pornography of himself and they needed to be removed because they were illegal, harmful and were in violation of the site’s policies.

A support agent followed up and asked for a copy of Doe’s ID so they could prove it was him and after the teen complied, there was no response for a week, the family claims.

Around the same time, Doe’s mother filed two complaints to Twitter reporting the same material and for a week, she also received no response, the suit states.

Finally on Jan. 28, Twitter replied to Doe and said they wouldn’t be taking down the material, which had already racked up over 167,000 views and 2,223 retweets, the suit states.

‘’Thanks for reaching out. We’ve reviewed the content, and didn’t find a violation of our policies, so no action will be taken at this time,” the response reads, according to the lawsuit.

“If you believe there’s a potential copyright infringement, please start a new report. If the content is hosted on a third-party website, you’ll need to contact that website’s support team to report it. Your safety is the most important thing, and if you believe you are in danger, we encourage you to contact your local authorities.”

In his response, published in the complaint, Doe appeared shocked.

“What do you mean you don’t see a problem? We both are minors right now and were minors at the time these videos were taken. We both were 13 years of age. We were baited, harassed, and threatened to take these videos that are now being posted without our permission. We did not authorize these videos AT ALL and they need to be taken down,” the teen wrote back to Twitter.

‘’Only after this take-down demand from a federal agent did Twitter suspend the user accounts that were distributing the CSAM and report the CSAM to the National Center on Missing and Exploited Children,” states the suit, filed by the National Center on Sexual Exploitation and two law firms.

‘This is directly in contrast to what their automated reply message and User Agreement state they will do to protect children.”

Twitter is not a passive, inactive, intermediary in the distribution of this harmful material; rather, Twitter has adopted an active role in the dissemination and knowing promotion and distribution of this harmful material. Twitter’s own policies, practices, business model, and technology architecture encourage and profit from the distribution of sexual exploitation material.

  3. I agree completely, it’s all garbage and a huge waste of time. WP is the only site I frequent now. I’d love to delete all my FB, Twitter, etc pgs but I have to keep them for my music (band).

    1. Yes I was also told to have SM presence but I don’t think it’s worth it. I think it’s enough to have WP alone. I heard that Twitter is known for allowing porn, it’s twisted how they censor opinion but not trafficking.

  5. I’ve often thought that social media is an extension of High School for all those who refuse to grow up and reach adulthood.

    Which turns out to be about 90% of the North American population.

    I always thought Jack Dorsey looked weird.

    He looks like somebody who was trying desperately to win 1st place in a mad Russian monk Grigory Rasputin lookalike contest and ended up winning 99th.

    And no one had the heart to tell him that he lost.

    Even though he was sent home with the package of used banana skins as a prize instead of the giant cake with the Russian lap dancer girl inside that the 1st place winner received.

      2. LinkedIn seems so pointless, like it’s just a spam site. We shouldn’t have to “opt out” of their marketing scams, they should never have sold private information in the first place.

  10. My husband’s Twitter account has been suspended now for about a month or so, due him posting ‘misinformation’ and spam. He hardly uses it and never posts spam. He thinks it must be because he retweeted stuff about the election being rigged and that Covid wasn’t all what it seems…I’ve still got mine but I don’t use it. I’m not on Facebook.
